St Kentigern College

 

Thresher associates was approached to collaborate on the redesign and development of specific areas within the St Kentigern College grounds.

This included Landscape Concept plans for key locations, planting suggestions, rendered models and sketches illustrating design concepts.  

Background 

The College is fifty years old amd are keen to improve the landscaping of the academic precinct, to soften the buildings and enhance these areas of public space.  The College were concerned they have an aging tree population and no coherent plan for the development of the landscape. One aim of the new building is to redress this and create a much stronger front entry and arrival point for users of the campus.

Three new plaza areas are proposed around the Arrivals building, which work with the change in levels to establish circulation and outdoor space for different usages, these are:
